The Obsolete Human

They can't really think that. The words make sense but the meaning is so ridiculous. Stand your ground. You've got to breathe first. Punching them seems like a valid move at this point, but come on, really? Are we savages or intelligent beings? If someone operates in a defensive state of mind, there is no right answer, there is my way or the highway.

History is taking place, you are part of it, enjoy it and smile. What does a sexist, a homophobic and a racist have in common? They are "soon" to be extinct. No, it's not that ridiculous statement to make. Now more than ever, that flickering possibility is within our grasp.

You might be thinking, "Yeah, it might be, but still things are looking bleak. All these things are still out there and going strong". That is somewhat true, but let's think of it this way. What was happening, let's say, 100 years ago from this day. None of these groups had any rights, and we are talking about NONE of them. LGTB was not even an acronym, and you would probably be send to the electric chair *over dramatizing* as well by just talking about it. Women could not vote and were viewed as inferior intelligent humans and racism was at it's peak, (as it was for centuries before that).

We can go even further back, where the common man was a slave and had no rights whatsoever. Where kings and queens were ruling. Think of how pessimistic those people were, and how difficult was to predict the change and the world we live in today. This is not something new, and definitely not as far stretched as some people may think.

There is evidence today more than ever that this change is inevitable. Society turns its back to those people, they are getting side tracked day after day. The fact that some people may agree that those kind of people need to change, and the way to progress is to empower humanity rather than slapping us down because of genre/color/sexual orientation, is an evidence of change. There is nothing that can stop progress, as slow as it may be. There is nothing that can poison the undeniable truth, and in this day and time, in the Information Age, the Internet Era, there is nothing that can not be heard if it strikes a core of change and progress.

So sit back, breathe comfortably, smile, love and believe, because you are a witness of historic events. You are the future and you are part of it, you are the spark, the wind of change, the foundation of something incredible and groundbreaking. We are the generation that paves the way forward and they are the generation of the walking extinct. Keep your head high, your mind open, and your heart full, Nothing, and No One can stop us now or ever.
